CaseSafe™ was created with a "privacy-by-design" approach. CaseSafe utilises the same secure, privacy-focused technology as AirTags and Android tracking devices.

Data Encryption:

• The tracking functionality uses Apple's Find My network and Google's Find My Device network APIs
• No personal data is stored by the device itself - it only broadcasts encrypted location beacons
• All location data is encrypted end-to-end by Apple/Google's systems
• July Luggage cannot access or view any customer location data

Who Can Access the Data:

• Only the device owner who has paired the CaseSafe with their personal Apple ID or Google account can see the location
• The data is tied to the user's personal account and protected by their device authentication (Face ID, Touch ID, passcode, etc.)
• Even July Luggage as the manufacturer cannot access customer location data
• Law enforcement would need to go through Apple/Google with proper legal process, not July

Tracking Chip Location:

• The tracking chip is embedded directly underneath the lock button
• This placement ensures it cannot be easily removed or tampered with
• The integration is seamless within the existing luggage design
